Meet an audio Bible
The Arrow: listen, discuss, and share.
The Arrow is a compact, solar powered audio player from Renew Outreach. It plays Scripture for a small group and can copy audio files to a compatible phone through its USB-C or Micro USB connectors. That gives a missionary group a way to gather around the Word and help listeners carry it with them.
Renew Outreach identifies more than 1,800 language options for the Arrow. The recording and language loaded for any Edify Scriptures project would be confirmed with the requesting organization.
Solar and USB charging
Renew reports about nine hours of audio playback from a full charge. In strong sunlight, three hours of solar charging can provide about two hours of playback.
Listen together
The built-in speaker is designed for a group of roughly ten listeners. A 3.5 mm headphone jack allows personal listening.
Share to phones
Connect the Arrow to a compatible phone to copy audio files. The device can also carry app and video files when those are included in its media library.
Practical in the field
The Arrow includes a small keylight, a battery-level indicator, a lanyard, and 16 GB of internal storage.
